A perfect morning at Lakefront Park led to perfect one-year portraits for Benton! I can't believe he's already (more than) a year old! Of course, we got some pictures of big brother Corbin and the boys together. This time, we also added some cousin pictures for even more fun. It's amazing how much variety you can get in such a small space - greenery, water, a beach, and rocks!
This was one much-anticipated portrait session! Our first scheduled evening turned out to be stormy...so we rescheduled. The next scheduled session was a hot and steamy day - not ideal for photos. Reschedule! The day before our next session, Grant got bit by a bug on his face and had a major reaction. You should have seen the pics!
Luckily, we successfully rescheduled one last time - and boy was it gorgeous! We had a longer-than-expected walk to the falls at Willow River State Park because it was busy, but even the walk was beautiful. It was so much fun to visit the same location where Jake & Nicole had their engagement portraits, now with their family!
And just for fun - through the years! See more - coming soon!
Spring is here and love is in the air! I had the opportunity to spend a gorgeous afternoon last weekend with Chris and Katy. We had a great time walking and getting some pretty portraits before their intimate wedding ceremony. It was perfect & I can't wait to photograph their larger ceremony in the fall!
Early spring is such a great time for pictures! It may have been a little chilly, but Brittany, Charlie & Fynn were more than happy to take a walk around the park for some photos. We headed back to the studio for some cake (Fynn was even willing to share :) ) to finish off the evening!
Fynn may be the child of a teacher...perhaps... See more - coming soon!
Winter is such a gorgeous time of year for portraits & weddings! At the end of January, I was lucky enough to take wedding photos for my cousin & her (now-)husband. We had a great time doing engagement photos with their family last fall, and documenting their wedding was just as much fun!
Last weekend, I had the opportunity to head to Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan, MN to meet Maggie, Jarred, and their eight-month-old. We were met by Maggie's extended family to do a few large group pictures as well. The gorgeous park and dusting of snow made for picture-perfect backdrops!
I can't even look at this grouping and not smile! See more - coming soon!
