I love winter and the holidays! Great food, friends and family, and (of course) a little break from work! Here in Wisconsin, we were predicted to get 12+ inches of snow, but it pretty much turned over to slushy rain...
Just wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a great holiday season wherever you are. I hope you're having a great winter and safe travels!
I love the holidays1 One of the best parts is the photo cards... sending & receiving!
There are over 200 card designs available from K. Krasin Photography, from Christmas to Hanukkah to Kwanzaa and other (non-holiday) designs! AND ordering couldn't be easier! Start by choosing your design here. Send me an e-mail with the design you'd like, which picture or pictures you've chosen and your greeting. I'll create the card & put it in a special gallery for you to order. That's it! If you don't see a design you like, custom design is available for $25, just send an email with a description of what you are looking for.
4x8 photo cards are printed on photo paper (you won't be able to write on them) in sets of 20($20), 50 ($40), or 100 ($65). 5x7 folded photo cards are printed with a glossy coating on the outside. The inside is just like a regular greeting card, so you can add personal notes. These are sold in sets of 1 ($5), 10 ($20), or 25 ($40).
Order by December 10th to be sure to receive by Christmas!!
We arrived in Mondovi mid-morning on November 14th. Malia was sitting anxiously, getting her makeup done. She said she would be just as happy not having a big wedding. I, on the other hand, was super excited to watch (and photograph) her marrying my brother!
Matt & Malia - thank you for letting me be a part of your big day! Everything was perfect. I hope you had a great time at the Kalahari!
Malia had a little time to relax before the ceremony!
My favorite of this set is the first - Matt watching Malia walk up the aisle.
Not the greatest picture, but I still like the expressions. :c)
I've been trying to get out to take family portraits of Jessi's family for a while now. We set a day up, but it rained. Then we tried for a different one... more rain! Finally the weather cooperated & we were able to get out! James is 6 months old and absolutely adorable. He lasted with a smile for about half the time... but he looks cute when he's serious too!
One of my favorites - and one of the last with a smile!
My husband Paul & I went up to Interstate State Park with Andrew & Bethany after taking some indoor photos at our house. Andrew & Paul had a great time exploring and we got some gorgeous pictures on this cold day in the beautiful state park!
Our friends, Travis & Andrea, had a beautiful baby girl on September 22nd, 2009. My husband & I visited Brooklynn (and Travis and Andrea, I suppose) on the following Saturday. We took newborn portraits - the youngest baby I've ever done photos of! She did such a great job & is absolutely adorable!
Mom's favorite - and one of mine!
Love the details.
Already a Packer fan!
Thanks for letting Paul & I come meet Brooklynn! We had tons of fun doing the photos & hopefully we'll get to see her (and you) again soon! :c)
Well, somehow, with the start of school, I got extremely behind on posting about the photos I've taken. Or even posting at all. So we're going to travel back in time a little bit & look at some photos from Lyndsey & Steve Elliot's wedding, from back in mid-August.
Lyndsey had some great ideas for photos and we got great formal portraits at the church in Barron, WI. Lyndsey & Steve's three kids were absolutely adorable! They did great for pictures... although I think that may be because they were bribed with toys. ;c)
I hope you guys had a great night and have been enjoying each other and your kids for the past... gulp, month and a half since your wedding! Some of my favorites...
Lyndsey looked beautiful in her dress!
Feeding each other cake
And the aftermath!
L.O.V.E.D. the cake!
2 of the 3 kids - aren't they adorable?
One of my favorites of Lyndsey
Portraits & a fire truck - so much fun
I'll be posting some more photos of another adorable baby SOON (they're already edited and on my website!!) and some photos of football, the Renaissance Festival, and our new house in a while - they've been waiting for maybe 2 or 3 months just to be edited!
My soon-to-be sister-in-law (wow, that's a lot of hyphens!) came over to my house and we had a party. It involved every person in our family coming over to see Noah and torturing him by taking about a million pictures. We tried so hard to get him to smile and giggle! We even called my brother. We got a couple, but not many! Noah did a great job anyway and we had a lot of fun!
That's a smile!
l.o.v.e. this one!
One more, because I just can't seem to pick just a few...
I attended Jenna's wedding as a guest... with a camera! We woke up on Saturday, August 8, to pouring rain outside the window. The meteorologist had predicted rain in the morning & sun in the afternoon, but this rain did not look like it was ever going to stop!
Fortunately, the rain did stop in time for the ceremony. The ceremony and reception were beautiful! Congratulations Jenna & Pete! I can't wait to come visit you at your new house, once you've moved in. :c)
The ceremony was beautiful
I loved the bubbles!
Jenna's sister, her maid-of-honor, gave a great speech... both of them tried to keep their tears at bay!
