Matt & Elizabeth are Getting Married! | Eau Claire, WI Engagement Portraits

 My brother is getting married in 2 weeks! I am so excited that they've trusted me to photograph their big day as well as an engagement/family session. We went to Big Falls County Park in Fall Creek, WI and spent the afternoon climbing on the falls and playing in the water.

While Gene and Jess said they weren't "outdoorsy", we decided to take a walk through the prairie for their portraits. This ended up being a perfect (but hot) location for their portraits! I can't wait to meet the rest of their family on their big day - in only a month and a half! :)

Colleen & Ben are Getting Married! | River Falls, WI Engagement Portraits

In just over a month, we'll be celebrating Colleen & Ben's wedding! We had so much fun getting to know each other and exploring (the recently updated) Glen Park in River Falls. I even got to get some portraits with their pup! Can't wait for your special day!

Dan & Colleen are Engaged! | St. Croix Falls, WI Proposal

On Thursday, Dan and I spent the evening scouting locations and making a plan at Dancing Dragonfly Winery. On Saturday, everything went off without a hitch!

Colleen may have had an idea of what was coming, but she was still surprised when Dan got down on one knee. She was even more surprised when they "snuck" around the private party sign to find a quiet spot & her family and friends were waiting to celebrate with them!
   

Matt ♥️ Bridgid | Menomonie, WI Engagement Portraits

As their big day (quickly) sneaks closer, Matt & Bridgid took some time out to do engagement portraits. They chose a sentimental location - UW-Stout - and we spent part of an evening on campus. Even though it was chilly, it was a perfect night! Can't wait to see these two again in just a couple of weeks!
 

Aimee & Jeremy | Minneapolis, MN Engagement Portraits

I was so excited to try out a different location for portraits this fall. I met Aimee and Jeremy at Minnehaha Falls and we found some great locations - for portraits & just in general! It was slightly chilly, but we (again) managed to avoid the rain.

Nick & Michelle {Hudson, WI Engagement Portraits}

We kept a close eye on the weather as our scheduled session approached. Rain was in the forecast and it didn't seem to be changing. As the day inched closer, it looked like there would be a lower chance of rain at the time of our session but still a chance. Luckily, Nick and Michelle were up for going ahead with their engagement portraits & bringing an umbrella just in case!

We were fortunate and missed out on any real rain - and had great lighting to boot! We had a great time at Willow River State Park, walking through the prairie that used to be water and reminiscing. Congratulations, Nick & Michelle!

Katy & Chris are Married! :: Take 1 {Minneapolis, MN Engagement & Wedding Portraits}

Spring is here and love is in the air! I had the opportunity to spend a gorgeous afternoon last weekend with Chris and Katy. We had a great time walking and getting some pretty portraits before their intimate wedding ceremony. It was perfect & I can't wait to photograph their larger ceremony in the fall!
