Photography helps people

Last time I posted, I talked about The Littlest Heroes Project. Although this photography organization is one that I am a part of now, there are a few other great ones that I would love to be a part of in the future. The short list...
  • Wish Upon A Wedding provides weddings across the US for individuals facing life-threatening illness. (Not just photography, but tons of services)
  • Operation: Love ReUnited (TM) offers special sessions with a patriotic edge during their enlistment, focusing on deployments–before and more importantly, after, at their reunion when the deployment has terminated and the soldier is safely home–usually in an airport. (This one hits a little close to home!)
  • Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep is an organization I'd love to be a part of, but I'm not sure that I could do it. The NILMDTS mission statement is to introduce remembrance photography to parents suffering the loss of a baby with the gift of professional portraiture. With a network of more than 7,000 volunteer photographers in the United States and 25 countries, NILMDTS is hugely successful and helps aid parents' healing and honor their child.
And there you have it - learn more at each organization's website & consider donating to their great causes!
