Katie is 1! {1-Year Portraits :: Madison, WI}

When Jenna called to schedule Katie's 1-year portraits, I thought we had some time. There was no way that Katie was going to be 1 so soon! Guess what?! I was wrong! I can't believe this little kiddo is already 1!

Fair warning - Jenna had some great ideas (horses, cake, balloons...way fun) so I really didn't narrow my blog post choices down very well!

We did get a couple family portraits in our play breaks.

We started with a beautifully decorated cake...

...and let Katie do what she wanted!

It was awfully yummy, even on her toe!

Dylan 6 Months {Baby Portraits :: River Falls, WI}

Another of my newborns is already 6 months old! Dylan came over to do some quick indoor portraits and then we headed out to the park - he definitely loves being outside.

It was so easy to get Dylan to smile and giggle! We had a great time and got some cute pictures!

Dylan is a Twins fan. But I forgive him, because how could you not with that face?

Such a big laugh!

Dylan's grandpa wanted some pics too!

Then we took a quick walk around the park.

We got Dylan's daddy in on the action too.

And ended our day at the swing!

Gia 6 Months {Baby Portraits :: River Falls, WI}

This weekend, I had the opportunity to spend a beautiful afternoon with Miss Gia and her mommy, Nicole. I can't believe Gia is already 6 months old! It feels like just yesterday that we were doing her newborn portraits!

Nicole - it was great to see you... it had been too long! :) Gia is gorgeous and she did such a great job as a little model. We started out indoors and then headed to a spot near the Kinnickinnic River and on the UW-River Falls campus.

So excited!

Nicole had some of the most adorable outfits for Gia!

Already a Packer fan! (this was Paul's favorite outfit)

This blue tutu worked out so perfectly!

We had to get a couple with Nicole too - these flowers weren't the ideal place for pics, but they're awfully pretty!

Alaina 6 months {River Falls Baby Photography}

We've had the opportunity to help document the lives of Andrew, Bethany and Alaina for quite a while - through engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn and 3-month portraits. Now Alaina is 6 months old (wow!!) and the weather was so beautiful that we couldn't pass up the opportunity to take some portraits outside (as well as in the studio). Alaina did a great job, with a little break in the middle. :) I loved seeing her smile and giggle!

She wasn't so sure about the giant frog this time!

The Medina Family {River Falls}

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to get together with Louis, Krista, and Siri again to take some updated family photos. I was also lucky enough to meet their newest addition - Hannah, who is now one year old! We did our portraits in River Falls this time and everyone did great! Sure, Hannah may have seen it more as a time to play (as did Siri once we got to the playground), but we still got some great portraits!

Thanks for coming this way, Louis & Krista! I had a great time seeing you again!
