Maddox has grown so much since we saw him last! It was fun to have him in the studio and see his personality! We had so much fun and he (and his parents) did great. :)
Sam will be graduating at the end of the school year! He's hoping to continue his education at UW-Madison. We spent some time together with his mom and brothers in downtown Hudson and his brothers even jumped in a couple frames!
When family comes to town, there are a ton of fun activities on the agenda! Don't forget to make family portraits one of them - the Gamm & Young families made time to have some fun getting portraits of siblings, cousins, and grandma!
I am so excited to share photos of the newest addition to one of my favorite families, Hailey Jo! Everyone is loving their new baby sister and they all did such a great job for their session. I may not have had cookies this time, but at least we had fun!
On Thursday, Dan and I spent the evening scouting locations and making a plan at Dancing Dragonfly Winery. On Saturday, everything went off without a hitch!
Colleen may have had an idea of what was coming, but she was still surprised when Dan got down on one knee. She was even more surprised when they "snuck" around the private party sign to find a quiet spot & her family and friends were waiting to celebrate with them!
We worked so hard to time our session for perfect blooms on the flowering trees as well as gorgeous weather. Not only were we planning the dream family session at the MN Landscape Arboretum, we were planning a session to celebrate the completion of a family after years of waiting! With three biological children, the F family finally feels complete with the addition of three more sweet kiddos!
Having grown up with foster siblings and with two adopted siblings, adoption is something that is near to my heart. Because of this, I'm honored to be able to volunteer for Found Families, an organization that provides free family photography sessions to families that have recently adopted a child. I loved meeting this amazing family and spending the evening with them!
