Jon & Kelley: The Wedding

Peeking out the window, waiting for the sun to appear from behind the clouds and mist. The morning flew by, with hair appointments, getting dressed, and doing makeup. Kelley and her bridesmaids checked outside periodically, but it was becoming apparent that the clouds weren't going to go away. Kelley looked at me & said 'Clouds are better for pictures, right?' After that, we spent the time before the ceremony hoping for a dry day and, although it stayed chilly, those hopes were granted!

Jon and Kelley got married in the gorgeous Prospect Park, overlooking the St. Croix River. The ceremony was as beautiful as the location. Some of my favorite pictures were from right at the end of the ceremony because Jon and Kelley just look so happy and in love! From the rehearsal, to getting ready, to the ceremony, to the dancing at the reception, everyone was having so much fun and that made my job much easier.

Jon and Kelley - thank you for letting Paul & I be a part of your day! We had so much fun spending the day with you. We'll miss you once you move to Tennessee!

Baby Noah

As a gift, I gave my brother & his fiancée photos. Okay, I know it's kind of a "cheater" gift, but baby photos are expensive! So I'm taking newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and one year photos for them. My husband, Paul, and I headed over to their beautiful house one evening a couple of weeks ago to get some newborn photos. Noah was 2 weeks old at the time we took them and absolutely adorable. He did a great job!

One of my favorites

Taking photos of a tiny baby was so much fun and I can't wait to do his next set in a couple short months!

Up next (in the hopefully near future): More cruise photos, aboard Serenade of the Seas!

Ahem, excuse me?

I am excited to interrupt the regular scheduled programming of cruise pictures, because...

My brother, Matt, and his fiancée, Malia, had a beautiful baby boy!

The new family, Matt, Malia, and Noah

Noah Matthew was born at 1:33 pm on Friday, May 15. Paul and I joined my dad, Nick, and Alonzo in Eau Claire to visit.

I'm NOT sorry for the interruption, and I will now return you to your regular scheduled blog.
