2011 has been a great year! Lots of portraits, a few weddings, and tons of fun! I hope you all had a great 2011 and I can't wait to see what 2012 holds for all of us! :)

Andy & Elizabeth {Rice Lake Wedding}
On a winter day that was almost the complete opposite of the previous year (yeah, remember that "blizzard wedding"?), two great people got married. I don't know if I've ever been able to say that a day was absolutely perfect in every way, but Andy & Elizabeth's wedding day was! There was a perfect amount of snow, it was warm (for December in WI), and everything went just as it was supposed to.
Liz and Andy - I already said it, but what a perfect day! It was an honor to be able to document your day and meet your families! I hope you had a great "mini" honeymoon! :)
Liz and Andy chose to do a First Look and it helped the day run so much more smoothly!

The ceremony
These are always some of my favorites of the ceremony - listening to their soon-to-be spouse's vows.
We did a few portraits at sunset after the ceremony, and I love how they turned out!

Alaina Lynn {Somerset Newborn}
Back in October, I did maternity portraits for a couple my husband & I know well - Andrew & Bethany. We've been lucky enough to document their life together - from engagement, to wedding, to maternity... and now newborn!
Alaina Lynn was born on November 19th and we were able to do her newborn portraits when she was just under 2 weeks old. She did wonderfully for the time we spent doing pictures! She slept for a lot of the time and only peed once. :)
Congratulations Andrew & Bethany! Alaina is beautiful! I can't wait to watch her grow up!

Nicole {Barron Maternity}
Wedding, maternity, newborn... it seems like so many of the
couples whose weddings I've photographed are progressing to the next big
"milestone" in their lives - having babies! I was super excited to
head to Jake & Nicole's house to do some maternity portraits. We
started out inside and then headed out to their park... I mean,
backyard. What a beautiful spot to take some photos!
Congratulations Jake & Nicole! I can't wait until I can come back in a few months. :)

Bethany {River Falls Maternity}
Many of my friends have recently announced that they are pregnant. This has given me some great opportunities to brush up on my maternity and newborn portfolios! I was excited to take maternity photos for Andrew & Bethany because I had done their engagement portraits as well as wedding photos previously. We always have a great time on photo shoots and this was no exception! We walked down under the swinging bridge at Glen Park and then spent some time in my home studio.
I hope you guys had as much fun as I did! You're gorgeous, Bethany, and I can't wait to meet the new addition to your family in a few weeks! :)

Willenbring Family {River Falls Portraits}
For the last two years, we've done a family session at Glen Park in October. The first year there were three & the next year four. This year, I met Jessi, Joe, James & John at Glen Park again - a little later in October but on a perfect day! James & John were another year older and they did a great job.
I hope you all had a good time - I sure did! :)
We got some full family photos, as well as Jessi, Joe and each of the boys...
