Happy New Year! {2015 Favorites}

2015 has been a great year - weddings, portraits, travel... I accepted a new position at my day job, we sold & bought a house, and we spent almost two weeks in Alaska. My hope is to be able to say the same in December 2016, to talk about what a great year it's been. That is my only "resolution" this year - to have a wonderful 2016!

Connor is 1! {Osceola, WI One Year and Family Portraits}

It was so fun to see how much Alaina and Connor had grown since last time we had done portraits with them! After a tour of their new house, we got to "work" taking some portraits - first inside, then outside in the yard (where there was enough snow to give an impression of winter).

Kaylee {Lino Lakes, MN Newborn Portraits}

Last year, I met Shannon & her family for family portraits for outdoor family portraits. I was super excited when she contacted me this summer about newborn portraits - although not as excited as they were to be expecting their first baby girl. :)

Kaylee is absolutely adorable - and is the first baby I've photographed who is awake but completely calm. Just like a little doll!

Mikla Family {River Falls, WI Family Portraits}

I was thrilled to see the Mikla family again - this time with extended family! We again made our way through the park looking for fall colors and beautiful backdrops.

We made sure to get some portraits with everyone...

Godden Family {River Falls, WI Family Portraits}

I had the opportunity to meet this fun family for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We took a nice walk through the park with stops for photos and throwing the football. The boys did great and I could definitely see their "10-going-on-17" age. :)

We got some nice pictures of the boys...but also got some silly ones!

Willenbring Family {River Falls, WI Family Portraits}

I love when I can watch families grow up (and grow)! I've been taking pictures for the Willenbring family since 2009. Their kids have grown so much - and a couple have been added. :) We had another great day at Glen Park in River Falls and found some great autumn photo spots.

Ashley, Chantz & Corbyn {St. Croix Falls, WI Family Portraits}

I love referrals! It's so much fun to meet friends of my clients (or friends...or clients turned friends...or friends turned clients...you get the idea).

Mid-October is a super popular time for portraits, so I was super glad we were able to fit a session in with Ashley, Chantz and Corbyn! We spent the afternoon at Interstate State Park in St. Croix Falls, WI - we got our exercise for the day in and had fun getting some portraits!

We were nervous that we had missed the colors - I think we hit the timing perfectly!

We made sure to get some photos of everyone together.
