Spring? {Shoot 52! :: Week 12}
Well, this week officially kicked off spring. Unfortunately this is how my drive to work looked at the beginning of the week...
But just to prove that sometimes it's nice here - this picture of Oliver is actually from last week, before the new snow. (yes, there was still snow covering the grass, but at least the deck was clear & it was sunny!)

Will is 1! {1-Year Portraits :: Minneapolis, MN}
Last spring, I went to Minneapolis to meet William for newborn portraits. This is the first time I've seen him since then - he's gotten so big!
Now that he's 1, Will had lots of fun playing with toys and watching mom & dad act silly. :)
Will wasn't too sure about those bright lights, so we turned them off for a few. Once he was distracted the lights weren't an issue any more!
This little boy loves blocks...
...and books...
...cute hats... (okay, maybe he didn't like the cute hat as much as we did)

Catching Up! {Shoot 52! :: Week 8-9-10}
Okay, so it turns out I'm not great at this blogging every week thing. Maybe by the end of the year. ;)
The good news is that I did still take pictures, even though I didn't post them. So here is my official, get-back-on-track post.
Last week was pretty nice in terms of weather, but the two weeks before that were cold, snowy, and more cold. My pictures from those weeks reflect that!
With all the cold & snow, I've also had a lot of work to do! Photos and video from the Westside Musical and my last wedding have kept me at my "control center" (with coffee of course)!

Dan & Sonja {Wedding Photography :: Hudson, WI & Bayport, MN}
I love winter weddings!
Last weekend, I had the honor of photographing a wedding for a great couple. The combining of these two families took place at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bayport, MN. After a beautiful ceremony, we made a couple of outdoor stops in the frigid, cold-even-for-Wisconsin weather and continued to Seasons on St. Croix Gallery for the reception. Sonja's beautiful bouquet & floral arrangements were designed by Moss River Flower Studio.
The hot chocolate bar was a great idea for a winter wedding!
