Noah: 3-Month Portraits

My soon-to-be sister-in-law (wow, that's a lot of hyphens!) came over to my house and we had a party. It involved every person in our family coming over to see Noah and torturing him by taking about a million pictures. We tried so hard to get him to smile and giggle! We even called my brother. We got a couple, but not many! Noah did a great job anyway and we had a lot of fun!

Jenna & Pete: The Wedding

I attended Jenna's wedding as a guest... with a camera! We woke up on Saturday, August 8, to pouring rain outside the window. The meteorologist had predicted rain in the morning & sun in the afternoon, but this rain did not look like it was ever going to stop!

Fortunately, the rain did stop in time for the ceremony. The ceremony and reception were beautiful! Congratulations Jenna & Pete! I can't wait to come visit you at your new house, once you've moved in. :c)

Jenna's sister, her maid-of-honor, gave a great speech... both of them tried to keep their tears at bay!

Jon & Kelley: The Wedding

Peeking out the window, waiting for the sun to appear from behind the clouds and mist. The morning flew by, with hair appointments, getting dressed, and doing makeup. Kelley and her bridesmaids checked outside periodically, but it was becoming apparent that the clouds weren't going to go away. Kelley looked at me & said 'Clouds are better for pictures, right?' After that, we spent the time before the ceremony hoping for a dry day and, although it stayed chilly, those hopes were granted!

Jon and Kelley got married in the gorgeous Prospect Park, overlooking the St. Croix River. The ceremony was as beautiful as the location. Some of my favorite pictures were from right at the end of the ceremony because Jon and Kelley just look so happy and in love! From the rehearsal, to getting ready, to the ceremony, to the dancing at the reception, everyone was having so much fun and that made my job much easier.

Jon and Kelley - thank you for letting Paul & I be a part of your day! We had so much fun spending the day with you. We'll miss you once you move to Tennessee!
