B Family {Barron, WI Family & Baby Portraits}

I LOVE that I've had a chance to see Nicole, Jake & their kiddos so often lately - that's what having a new baby will do! :)

Gia and Grant are absolutely adorable...I think I could chat with Gia all day! She even had a painting for Paul and I when we arrived this time. We did these portraits before Christmas but we didn't want to spoil holiday cards or gifts so I waited to show them off, but I'm so happy I get to now!

Happy Holidays! {Shoot 52::Weeks 47-52}

Whew, we made it!  I hope all of you have had a wonderful 2014 & are looking forward to an even better 2015!  I still have a couple of blogs to post - hopefully before the end of the year - but I'm feeling good about being mostly caught up.  Resolutions?  I don't know about you, but I'm going to pick small things that will (hopefully) be easy changes.  :)

The week after Thanksgiving, we got our tree at our favorite place - Santa's Evergreens!

All of my coworkers like coffee, so I decided to be ambitious and taught myself to crochet using Frayed Knot's 15-Minute Coffee Sleeve.  I think they turned out well (even though they took way longer than 15 minutes for me)!  Now to make a couple for myself.  :)

Just for fun - my students decorated my door at school.

Our Christmas celebrations were a little spread out this year (one the Saturday before & one on Christmas) so these count for two weeks. ;)

All in all, I'm enjoying my winter break with a book, coffee, and Oliver on my lap. :)

I hope you're enjoying your holiday season as well!  I'd say see you next year, but hopefully I'll "see" you before then! (and it's kinda cheesy...my students told me so...)

Happy Holidays!

G & J Are Married! {St. Paul, MN Wedding Photography}

I was lucky enough to work with Jeanne in one of my previous schools and recently she asked me if I still do photography (of course I do!) and if I would photograph her wedding. I was honored to be able to attend her small ceremony & meet her now-husband, Gary. Another pretty winter wedding!

Sam and Kristin were married on December 6th. With a winter wonderland theme, they were lucky to have a day with perfect weather (especially for December)! Everything was perfect and you could see how happy they were. :)

Sam and Kristin chose to do a first look - the rest of their day was so much more relaxed and they managed to have a moment alone!

The F Family {Hudson, WI Family Portraits)

It's like boxing. Take the shot when you can. How else do you get pics of almost-2-year-old twins and their big sister?!

After we "played" in front of the backdrop, we played and read books - funny books and favorite books - and danced to some music...all while my assistant (my husband, Paul) cleaned up the mess of photo equipment we left. :)

I've been taking pictures for Andrea & Travis since they got married. It's so much fun to have had the opportunity to see their lives evolve and watch their kids grow!
